Our booth at Columbia Farmers Market

Our Story

We started from humble beginnings. We purchased a barren field just north of Fayette, Missouri in 2014 and we had our work cut out for us. We dreamed of turning this field into a vibrant, lush organic farm — filled with ponds, fruit trees, biodiverse landscape features, and a home.

We toiled for the first few years breaking ground, building, and sustaining a small CSA (community supported agriculture). In 2019 we had to pivot in order to make our dream become reality. I had to start working off of the farm and for that time had to settle for family gardens. The dream never died. During the time I was working off of the farm we were able to continue to make lots of headway with pond building, landscaping features, and fruit trees.

In 2024 my two oldest boys — 12 and 14 at the time — started working in our gardens and selling produce at a small local market. The following year they told me they would like to help get the farm started up again. At the time I didn’t realize how this would materialize. We went ahead and signed up to be vendors at Columbia Farmers Market to get our foot in the door. We were immediately shocked at the awesome facility, culture, and customer base CFM had curated, and decided we can make a go of it.

In 2026 I stepped down to part time at my occupation and we signed up for a permanent booth at CFM. We are having a blast and are excited to see what the future holds.
